Because better men make better communities.

Just. Men. Oregon. Is a year-long initiative focused specifically on engaging men in the fight to end demand for prostituted kids in our state. A broad spectrum of community leaders have banded together in a creative partnership to call good men to the fight in creative and sustainable ways.

Just. Men. Oregon. aims to do more than simply raise awareness. Our goal is to actively engage 1000 Oregon men in the fight to end demand between Father’s Day 2012 and Father’s Day 2013. “Actively engaged” men do two things:

  1. They literally buy in to the idea of supporting local victim relief work. This means a symbolic financial commitment to the work of the Sexual Assault Resource Center (SARC)
  2. They demonstrate both the will and the skill to leverage personal influence for lasting change.
Since men create the demand for prostituted kids, better men…just. men. will have to end it.
